The Joint Commission’s charter is to improve the quality of care given to patients within the health-care field. It also reviews all processes and procedures related to customer safety and delivery of health-related products. By auditing Tobii ATI’s actual delivery of crucial services through an on-site review, the Joint Commission has reaffirmed the company’s ongoing dedication to meeting rigorous national standards.

"Tobii ATI hopes to set a benchmark in the augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) industry for accreditation and ensure that as an industry, we all strive towards better service for our customers. AAC customers can often be vulnerable to poor service due to their communication difficulties. We want to ensure that those customers are protected and well cared for. Accreditation from The Joint Commission holds us accountable for our services and encourages us to strive to continuously improve customer care. Tobii ATI will continue to be the industry leader in customer care. The Gold Seal reinforces this intention. The Gold Seal of Approval not only acknowledges that Tobii ATI provides innovative, quality products, but also that we hold our services to the customer at the highest possible standard," says Tobii ATI President, Tara Rudnicki.
